Early life
Torres was born on 29 February 2000 in Foios, a small town in the Horta Nord comarca just north of Valencia. He started out with futsal at the EPLA school and then attracted the attention of the Valencia CF academy, which he later joined at the age of seven.
Former Valencia B head coach Curro Torres gave him his debut for the reserve team as an under-16 player on 15 October 2016, when he came on as a substitute against Real Mallorca. Spain’s Under-17 team called him up that September, and he finished his first match for the age group, against Northern Ireland, with two assists.
Club career
Torres made his senior first-team debut for Valencia in a Copa del Rey match against Real Zaragoza on 30 November 2017, followed by a La Liga debut against Eibar on 16 December that same year, making Torres the first player born in the year 2000 to appear in the competition. Aged 19 years and 324 days, he broke a 40-year record to become the youngest player in Valencia’s history to play 50 league games when he featured in the 2-1 defeat at Real Betis in November 2019.

Torres was in a relationship with Spanish showjumper Sira Martínez, the daughter of football manager Luis Enrique, between 2021 and 2023.
